Fix Weird Font Problem in Windows 10 This is a very weird font problem where people are say the main font has been changed after a window update or upgrade to windows 10. I have left a link to a. Right the fix I've found is to get the Arial font from any computer and install it. It looks like it won't fix it but just go over anything with your mouse and the words should appear, this way you can reset your fonts because you can actually navigate again.

So as you can see here:
Calibri Font Missing Windows 10
My fonts messed up for some reason. It was fine yesterday though.
I've already tried sfc /scannow which didn't do anything and I can't change the font via appearances because.. I can't read what it says when the window opens.
Any help would be very appreciated :)
Edit: I did some more digging, and according to InDesign I'm simply just missing 90% of my fonts? I don't know if that helps though.

If you haven't already, try resetting font settings if you haven't already.
That should fix corrupted fonts and add back missing Windows fonts, to my knowledge.

You'll have to remember where you put your arial font on your usb or whatever you use though, put it in a separate map or on an empty usb as copying the arial font turns into multiple files.
edit: Seems to still do the weird font on restart Motel 6.

The Windows operating system creates a cache for the fonts so that they can load faster everytime you start a program, app, Explorer, etc. But if you are facing Font problems, where the fonts are not rendering properly or displaying invalid characters on your Windows 10 computer, maybe the Font Cache has become corrupt. To resolve the issue, you need to reset, clear & rebuild the Font Cache. Let us see how to do it.
Rebuild Font cache in Windows 10
Type services.msc in Start search and hit Enter to open the Windows Services Manager.
Locate the Windows Font Cache Service. Double-click on it to open its Properties box. Stop the Service and Disable it as well. The Windows Font Cache Service optimizes the performance of applications by caching commonly used font data. Applications will start this service if it is not already running. It can be disabled, though doing so will degrade application performance.
Do the same for Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0 Service as well. Stop and Disable it as well. Openvpn hyper v appliance. The Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0 Service optimizes the performance of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications by caching.
Now open File Explorer, make Windows show Hidden files & folders and then manually navigate to the following location:
Press Continue if you are asked.
Once there, delete all .dat files starting with FontCache.
Next, open the Font Cache folder which you see there and delete all its contents.
If you are unable to delete some files, restart the computer and try. Since you have disabled both the Services, they will not start, and you will be able to delete all files.
Once you have deleted the files, Enable both the Services and Start them via Services Manager.
